GSE Consulting Welcomes New Director of Sales - Jason O’Connor joins from Constellation New Energy

HOUSTON, TX (March 16, 2009) - GSE Consulting, LP, one of the nation’s largest energy procurement and management firms, with offices in Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Corpus Christi, Pittsburgh, and New York recently announced that Jason O’Connor has joined the company as director of sales.
In his new capacity at GSE Consulting, O’Connor will oversee a national sales team and be responsible for building relationships with companies that could benefit from strategic energy procurement services.
O’Connor brings more than a decade of sales experience to GSE Consulting, having previously served as sales manager for Constellation New Energy, the nation’s largest competitive supplier of electricity to commercial and industrial customers, and the nation’s largest wholesale power seller. There, he received the Presidents’ Circle award for his sales accomplishments.
Prior to that, O’Connor worked in sales for Sysco Foodservices in Dallas.
“Jason knows the Texas market well and is familiar with the energy industry and the opportunities to help improve the bottom line of businesses of all sizes, regardless of whether prices are up or down,” said Brian Dafferner, president of GSE Consulting. “He brings a strong skillset to a growing organization and we are excited to have him join the team.”
O’Connor holds a Bachelor’s of Business Adminstration degree in marketing from the University of North Texas.
